		<description>It is an odd coincidence that you should mention this topic, as I was just re-reading a blog post of my own (http://atheistepiscopal.blogspot.com/2009/06/i-need-thee-o-i-need-thee.html) about this issue (at least in part) that I wrote a few weeks ago about my 90-year-old Uncle Delmer on the death of his wife. Rather than hollow words of comfort, I think that &quot;presence&quot; in a true and authentic sense is what we can offer persons in this difficult time. We can be truly and really present with them. All else rings too false, I think.</description>
